Polish army searching for missing drone

A spokesman for the Polish Armed Forces has reported that a drone has gone missing near the city of Tychy, southern Poland.

According to the military, the operator lost contact with the drone on 8 March.
Helicopters have been deployed as part of the search, which is being aided by police in the Silesia and Małopolska regions.
It has been reported that drone is a MQ1 Predator, produced in the United States, but the army did not specify the model in its statement. (nh/pk)
