Police have warned they will crack down hard on drink-drivers - Polish get-togethers are traditionally accompanied by alcohol.
Iwona Kuc, from the Polish police headquarters press office, said: "Despite our appeals, many people still decide to drive after drinking. We urge passengers not to agree to this.”
Officers will also focus on speeders, check if drivers have their safety belts on and whether toddlers are strapped into child safety seats.
Last year, the Easter period saw 217 accidents on Polish roads. Over 1,100 drink-drivers were stopped by police. (pk/di)
