The study found that 30 percent of respondents are critical of the Cabinet’s performance. Most of the government’s supporters hold right-of-centre views and are practicing believers.

Prime Minister Szydło herself is seen in a more positive light, with 45 percent of Poles satisfied with her work and 37 percent critical of her activities.

In comparison with the results for June, the number of critics of the prime minister fell by four percentage points and that of her supporters grew by the same margin.

The survey was carried out in the first week of July on a representative group of 983 people over 18 years of age, using computer-assisted direct interviews. (mk/pk)
