According to the CBOS Institute, 34 percent of Poles are critical of Duda’s performance in office, two percentage points more than a month ago.

Twelve percent of respondents have no opinion. Duda was sworn in as head of state in August 2015.

Meanwhile, the ratings of the Polish parliament have fallen, with 57 percent of Poles unhappy with the work of the Lower House.

CBOS also asked respondents about their attitude to the Constitutional Tribunal, which is embroiled in a protracted dispute with parliament. Thirty-eight percent of Poles were critical of the Tribunal’s activities while 29 percent had a positive view of its work.

The poll was conducted between 17 and 25 August on a representative group of 1,033 adult Poles. (mk/pk)
