According to pollster TNS Institute, 32 percent of survey respondents are optimistic about the future.

Sixteen percent do not have any opinion on the matter. The results of the poll show a slight deterioration in social sentiments. In comparison with a similar poll a month ago, the group of pessimists grew by two percentage points, and that of optimists fell by one percentage point.

According to 46 percent of those polled, the national economy is in crisis, which is described as “deep” by nine percent of the respondents. Only three percent of Poles describe the country’s economic growth as “dynamic”.

The survey was carried out between 7-12 October on a representative group of 1,052 people over fifteen years of age, using the method of computer-assisted direct interviews. (mk/rg)
