Piotr Gliński is to present Łódź’s case at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) headquarters in Paris.

If Łódź was granted the opportunity to host the fair, “Poland would be able to present itself as a modern, stable and democratic country, developing in terms of both economy and culture,” Gliński said.

He added that the Expo fair could significantly boost the development of Łódź and the rest of the country, and even the whole CEE region.

If picked, Łódź wants the fair in 2022 to focus on urban revitalization. (tf/pk)
