The ministry’s “Kosciuszko” programme is aimed at Polish scientists working at foreign universities.
The main goal of the programme is for the ministry to finance research projects in its various institutions in Poland.
One of the projects will be conducted next year in the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw by professor Claudine Kieda, a Polish scientist working for The National Centre for Scientific Research in Orléans, France.
Kieda was granted PLN 1.5 million (EUR 0.34 million) for her three-year project at the Institute in Warsaw.
Three other US-based scientists have also been granted financing for their research projects in Poland. (tf/rg/vb)
