Helena Kmieć, a young Polish secular missionary murdered during an attack at a childcare centre in Bolivia, was buried on Sunday with official honours in her native town of Libiąż, southern Poland.

Beata Kempa, head of the Polish Prime Minister's office, represented PM Beata Szydło.
President Andrzej Duda posthumously awarded Helena Kmieć with the Gold Cross of Merit for services to the state.
Helena Kmieć died of stab wounds on the night of 24 January at a childcare centre where she was working. She had arrived in Bolivia only two weeks earlier. (mol/pk)
