20 injured in Polski Bus crash

Twenty people have been taken to hospital with injuries after their coach, belonging to budget transport company Polski Bus, crashed in a ditch on a highway in Poland's southeast.

Eighty-five people had been on board the bus travelling from Warsaw to Rzeszów when it crashed in Nowa Dęba, 54 kilometres north of its destination, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Fifteen ambulances and dozens of firefighters were called to the scene of the crash. (vb/pk)
