President is Poland’s most-trusted politician: survey

President Andrzej Duda is Poland’s most-trusted politician, with 71 percent of respondents saying they have confidence in him, according to a new survey.

Pollster CBOS said trust in the president had risen 11 percentage points in August compared to the beginning of July.
At the same time, the number of those who do not trust Duda has fallen nine points to 18 percent.
Poland’s second most-trusted politician is Prime Minister Beata Szydło, with 56 percent saying they have confidence in her, the CBOS poll found.
Meanwhile Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz is the least trusted politician, according to the survey. In August, 55 percent of respondents said they distrusted him while 28 percent said they had confidence in him.
