President Duda Poland’s most trusted politician: survey

Polish President Andrzej Duda continues to be the country’s most trusted politician, with 74 percent of respondents saying they have confidence in him, according to a new survey by pollster CBOS.

The proportion of those who trust Duda has grown by three percentage points since August.

In second place is Prime Minister Beata Szydło, who garnered 57 percent in the ranking.

Third is opposition MP Paweł Kukiz, with 51 percent saying they trust him, the poll found.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz continues to top the list of the least trusted politicians.

Fifty-four percent of respondents said they did not trust him. (aba/pk)
