Restaurants and diners support hungry kids in Poland

By drinking coffee or having dinner at a restaurant in Poland on Saturday patrons can help provide warm meals to more than 2,000 children across the country for a whole year.

The 16th Polish Humanitarian Action's Christmas drive has engaged 750 restaurants and cafes, which will donate ten percent revenue from sales on the day to the charity.
In 2016, 580 restaurants were involved, and more than PLN 120,000 (EUR 28,000) was collected, funding 30,000 school cafeteria meals for children from low income families. (vb)
