An influx of cold air from Siberia was expected to see temperatures falling to minus 17 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas of Poland on Saturday night.

Officials have appealed to the public to alert the authorities if they see homeless people sleeping outside.
Snow hit many areas of the country on Saturday, making roads dangerous for drivers.
Four people died of hypothermia on Friday, the PAP news agency reported.
