The international fair wound up in the Russian capital on Thursday.
“We are happy that the Polish Tourism Organisation has received its second award this year,” Dariusz Rogowski, Poland's undersecretary of state in charge of tourism, has said in a statement.
Last weekend, the Polish stand won a prize for Best Exhibitor in Europe at the International Tourism Bourse (ITB), the largest tourism fair in the world.
“During this year’s MITT, we have centred our attention on promoting Polish castles and palaces as well as active tourism,” said Robert Andrzejczyk, head of the Polish Tourism Organisation.
Health tourism was another area of focus at the Polish stand, Andrzejczyk added.
