Poland’s second-most trusted politician is Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who has the confidence of 61 percent of those surveyed, pollster CBOS found.

Trust in both Duda and Morawiecki has increased by 1 percentage point compared with a similar survey in March.

Meanwhile, opposition leader Grzegorz Schetyna is the least trusted politician in the country, distrusted by 46 percent, according to the survey.

The second-most distrusted politician in Poland is Jarosław Kaczyński, head of the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, according to the survey. However, more people (42 percent) trust Kaczyński than distrust him (41 percent), the poll found.

The survey was carried out from April 5 to 12 on a representative sample of 1,102 adults.
