A new Eurobarometer study found that an average of 67 percent of those polled across Europe said they believe EU membership has benefitted their countries, according to reports.

Meanwhile, five percent of respondents in Poland voiced a negative view of their country being part of the EU, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

The survey was published 12 months ahead of European Parliament elections scheduled to take place from May 23 to 26 next year.

Around 27,000 Europeans responded to the survey, which was conducted in April.
