Heatwave warnings have been issued for seven provinces in western Poland.
The Government Security Centre said that people should limit their exposure to the sun, drink a lot of water, avoid venturing outdoors unless necessary, refrain from exercise and not to drink alcohol, which causes dehydration.
It also advised Poles to wear hats and not to leave children or animals in a closed car.
