Poland to bring in hi-tech monitoring of offenders

Poland will have one of the most modern offender-monitoring systems in the world, Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro has said.

Ziobro publicly presented the new system on Tuesday. He said the hi-tech electronic monitoring had been created by private Polish companies.
The justice ministry has said the new system will offer crime victims increased security and enable precise monitoring of dangerous offenders.
