Polish boy dies after locking himself in washing machine: report

The boy from the northern town of Słupsk had been playing with his five-year-old sister on Monday, the PAP news agency reported.

The boy’s parents called an ambulance and the child was taken to hospital in serious condition, PAP added.

"We have information that the boy died during the night... at this moment it looks like this was an unfortunate accident," Piotr Nierebiński, a district prosecutor, said on Tuesday.
