The opposition Civic Platform (PO) party, which headed the previous government, is supported by 24.6 percent. Backing for the grouping dropped 3 percentage points from the previous poll.

The left-wing Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), now outside parliament, is third on 9.6 percent support, IBRIS found.

The Kukiz’15 grouping is in fourth position with 7.5 percent, followed by the Polish People’s Party (PSL) on 5.7 percent.

Other parties would not exceed the 5 percent threshold needed to make it into the Polish parliament, according to the poll.

The survey was carried out between June 21 and 22 on a sample of 1,100 adults.
