Morawiecki met fire crews as they arrived in the north-western Polish port of Świnoujście.
The prime minister told them: "We are extremely proud of your work, of that fact that you have confirmed our national speciality, which is solidarity -- solidarity with others in difficult moments."
Eight European Union countries and Norway sent fire crews to Sweden as wildfires raged across that country after an extended period of heat and drought.
Poland sent 139 firefighters and 44 fire trucks as its contribution to the effort.
Interior Minister Joachim Brudziński said the Polish crews had delivered "one of the most beautiful calling cards and forms of promotion of our country."
