It cited Poland’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates as saying that Arab tourists were keen on visiting in part because they felt safe in Poland.

Arab tourists are coming to Kraków with their entire families because they value the city “for its historic sites and atmosphere as well as cheap prices," the ambassador, Robert Rostek, told the Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper.

He added that another draw was "the fact that there are no terrorist attacks there, unlike in other cities in Europe.”
