Fed-up locals plan to hand out more than 1,000 leaflets and posters in Polish and English, mainly to guests of restaurants and cafes in the city’s Old Town and popular Kazimierz district.

The leaflets will have slogans such as "Keep quiet and let residents sleep" and "Noise irritates,” according to public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency.

Kraków has long been a draw for foreign tourists, including for stag parties from Britain whose late-night, alcohol-fuelled antics have often irritated locals.
