The Poles beat Brazil 3-0 in the final in Turin, Italy, taking their third world title after wins in 2014 in Poland and in 1974 in Mexico.
"A great victory by a great team in great style!” Morawiecki tweeted.
“Golden heroes, the best of the best, the… red-and-white team!" he added, referring to Poland’s national colours.
Morawiecki said he hoped celebrations of the Polish victory would be long-lasting, and that "employers will forgive tomorrow's possible lateness" by staff at work.
The Poles proved unstoppable in Turin, notching up a straight-set 28-26, 25-20, 25-23 victory to defend their championship title of four years ago.
Poland’s Bartosz Kurek was named best player of the championships.
