More supporters than critics of Polish PM, gov’t: survey

Poles who believe their country’s prime minister and his conservative government are doing a good job outnumber critics, according to a new survey.

In total, 45 percent of respondents praised Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, while 41 percent were critical.
The survey by pollster Public Kantar found that 44 percent thought the government was working well while 43 percent disagreed.
The survey also found that 49 percent believed President Andrzej Duda was doing a good job while 39 percent were critical of him.
The poll was carried out on October 12-17, asking a representative sample of 1,067 Poles aged 15 and above about their views.
