President Andrzej Duda remains the most trusted politician in Poland, with 41.4 percent of respondents to a new survey saying they have confidence in him.

Poland’s second most-trusted politician is Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, with 40 percent of those surveyed saying they have confidence in him, the IBRiS poll found.
Thirty-eight percent of respondents said they trusted Polish People’s Party leader Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
Deputy Prime Minister and former prime minister Beata Szydło, came fourth in the poll, with 32.6 percent, followed by Robert Biedroń, mayor of the northern city of Słupsk and an LGBT activist, who enjoyed the confidence of 32.5 percent of respondents.
Conservative leader Jarosław Kaczyński, head of Poland’s governing Law and Justice (PiS) party, is trusted by 31.1 percent, the poll found.
The survey was carried between January 3-4 on a sample of 1,100 respondents using the computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) method.
