Pollster CBOS found that 43 percent of respondents to a survey wanted to spend more time travelling.

Meanwhile, 39 percent said they would like to spend more time with their families.

Only 19 percent of respondents said they would like to devote more time to work, 17 percent said they would like to have more time for sports while 15 percent declared they wanted to devote more energy to cultural activities.

Report author Rafał Boguszewski said that as Poles become more affluent, they are spending less time making money or merely trying to survive, and are more focused than previously on family life and leisure pursuits.

The study was conducted last October, canvassing 1,016 adults in Poland.
