More measles cases have been reported in Poland amid an anti-vaccination movement and an epidemic in neighbouring Ukraine.

A total of 380 suspected cases of measles have been reported across Poland since the beginning of this year, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Meanwhile, the whole of last year saw 339 measles cases, with the peak in November and December.
In 2017, there were 63 cases in Poland.
Experts say the increase in recent months is linked to a measles epidemic in Ukraine, which has seen problems with vaccinations because of the war there.
Meanwhile, a so-called anti-vax movement in Poland has led to fewer children being vaccinated, according to IAR.
Measles can lead to severe complications such as pneumonia, encephalitis, or swelling of the brain, and death.
