The record payout amounting to over 56 million zloty comes as no-one had hit all six numbers in the Lotto draw since the beginning of September.

The chances of winning the cash were 1 in 13,983,816.

The 28 million zloty payout breaks the previous record, which stood at 24.5 million zloty paid out in one lump sum. (jb)
