A new opinion poll shows three parties disputing third place ahead of the 9 October election in Poland.
According to the new poll by TNS OBOP, the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) is on 9 percent, the left-liberal Palikot Movement is on 7 percent and the junior coalition partner for the last four years, the Polish Peasant's Party (PSL) 6 percent.
The outright leader in the poll remains Civic Platform (PO) on 32 percent, 11 percentage points ahead of Law and Justice (PiS).
No other party would receive the required 5 percent support to gain seats in Poland's lower house of parliament (Sejm), finds the poll commissioned by the Gazeta Wyborcza daily.
Third place in the elections could be vital to which party joins a coalition government. (pg)
