Photographer Chris Niedenthal tells us how he took one of the iconic images of the imposition of martial law in Poland, 13 December 1981.
The photograph shows a tank standing outside the Moskwa cinema in Warsaw, which just happened to be showing Apocalypse Now, a highly popular movie released in Poland in the winter of 1981.
The photograph has since become world-renowned.
On the 30th anniversary of martial law, listen to American photographer Chris Niedenthal's story of how he managed to take the picture and send it to Newsweek editors in New York.
