President Komorowski will attend the funeral on 9 February of poet Wislawa Szymborska, who died on Wednesday.

The funeral, at noon, will be held in the Nobel prize winning writer and poet in her home town of Krakow.
She will be buried at the Rakowicki cemetery, the mayor of Krakow, Jacek Majchrowski has informed.
“As requested by Ms. Wislawa, her funeral will take place at the Rakowicki cementery because she wanted to be buried in the family tomb,” alongside her parents and sister,” he said.
The mayor also said that Prime Minister Donald Tusk will also attend if his schedule allows. (pg)
