Wislawa Szymborska to be buried at noon

The poet Wislawa Szymborska, who died last week, is to be buried in her family tomb in Rakowicki Cemetery in Krakow at noon today.

According to her will, the ceremony will be secular in nature.
President Bronislaw Komorowski and Prime Minister Donald Tusk will be among the guests at the funeral.
Invitations have also been issued to writer Umberto Eco, film maker Woody Allen, and fellow Nobel laureate, the Irish poet Seamus Heaney. (pg)
