EU Commissioner Janusz Lewandowski talks to reporter Michal Kubicki about the problems facing the bloc – and Poland – in the wake of the Brussels summit.
In Lewandowski's view, the outcome of the EU summit in Brussels is ‘a step into the unknown’. He says that the strategy of the European Commission was to go for the integration of the EU and not only to save the euro zone.
"These two goals were equally important. However, saving the euro appeared more important than integration due to the position of Britain," Lewandowski states. (jb)
