13.09.2009 10:24
A pilot has gone missing after his micro light plane crashed into a lake near Poznan, western Poland, Saturday night.

Media reports say a witness saw the pilot get out of the aircraft after it crashed and swam ashore but has since disappeared.

Police say that he has not checked in to any of the local hospitals.

The plane was returning after taking part in an air show in Poznan celebrating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Polish Air Club.

On Friday, two people were killed when a small plane crashed in Lower Silesia, southern Poland. (pg)
