Polish law needs changes to accommodate prevention of new threats such as cyber terrorism, say MPs belonging to a parliamentary commission following their talks with heads of special services in Poland.
Head of the commission, Jarosław Zieliński of the Law and Justice major opposition party said that although Poland is not particularly prone to cyber terrorism, continuous monitoring of the Internet by the state should be made possible.
Marek Biernacki of the ruling Civic Platform added that cyber terrorism is developing all the time and Polish authorities should get prepared to prevent such attacks in the future. Biernacki reminded that until not long ago a special school for hackers operated in Moscow.
The parliamentary commission will continue their work on cyber terrorism prevention at their next session.
