Malysz maintains form

Olympic silver medalist Adam Malysz jumped 216.5 meters in qualification, Thursday, at the FIS Ski Flying world championship at Planica, Slovenia..

 

Bjoern Einar Romoeren of Norway take top place, landing at 230.5 metres, 8.5 metres short of his world record.


The contest includes 40 competitors, among them Lukasz Rutkowski and Rafal Sliz, who took 16th and 25th places respectively.

 

The world ski flying championships take place every two years on hills longer than 185 metres. (pg)
