Poland came fourth in the World Ski-Flying Championships in Planica, Slovenia, Sunday.
Austrians won the gold medal, with Norway and Finland teams taking silver and bronze medals.
Poland were close to taking third spot but Lukasz Rutkowski managed only 143 m on his final jump.. Olympic silver medalist Adam Malysz had kept the Poles in the hunt with two jumps over 200 m.
Ski-flying is a more extreme version of normal ski jumping, Ski flying with hills of at least 185 metres, instead of the usual 120-130 metres.
In the singles competition, which finished Saturday, Malysz disappointed by finishing fourth after being in second place at the end of the first day, Friday. (pg)
