The game, due to kick off at 8:45 pm in the western Polish city of Poznań, was the next to last friendly match Poland were scheduled to play before the tournament in Russia.

Poland will on Tuesday take on Lithuania in their last pre-World Cup fixture at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

A day later the Polish national football squad will depart for Russia.

Poland manager Adam Nawałka on Monday named his final 23-man lineup for the World Cup.

Poland lost to Nigeria 0-1 and defeated South Korea 3-2 in their previous pre-World Cup friendlies in March.

In November, Poland drew 0-0 with Uruguay and lost 0-1 against Mexico.

The World Cup in Russia kicks off on June 14 and runs until July 15. Poland take on Senegal, Colombia and Japan in the group stage of the tournament.

Nawałka told a news conference on Thursday that Chile were “an interesting and attractive opponent” for Poland, with a style of play "reminiscent of not only Colombia, but ... also Senegal."
