The Nottingham-born singer-songwriter has a Polish mother and Scottish father. In 2012 she released her fourth album which is inspired by Poles’ experiences during WW II. As she told our reporter Danuta Isler, the album "Paszport" (the Polish spelling of ‘passport’) pays homage and salutes those brave Polish people who fought for an Independent Poland.
